Build and runtime logs

Open your app, go to the Deployments tab and pick a deployment. The Deployment Logs panel shows:

  • a Live badge while the deployment runs (it refreshes every couple of seconds), and Archived once it’s done,
  • for Drone deploys, Drone’s steps; switch on Show full build log for everything,
  • an Export button that downloads the log as a .txt file.

A deployment moves through these statuses: Queued, Fetching code, Building, Starting, Checking health, Going live, then Live (or Failed). Older versions that were replaced show Replaced.

The end of each deployment’s log is kept with the deployment for as long as the app exists.

From the CLI, hivepod deploy -v prints the full build log. MCP clients can use the build_logs and deployment_status tools.

The Logs tab shows what your running app prints (the last 500 lines). Choose a window (Any time, Last 15 minutes, Last hour, Last 24 hours), filter by level, or switch on Refresh every 5 seconds.

If the app isn’t running, you’ll see “Your app is not running, so there are no logs to show.”

MCP clients can read runtime logs with the app_logs tool.
