Changelog

A new way to pay with no monthly fee: top up prepaid credits and pay only for usage beyond the free allowances. See Pay as you go.

These docs replace the old documentation. Hive proposals, the node-provider program and Seacure Weave are retired; see Deprecated and legacy.

DockHive now runs in five regions: us, eu, asia, africa and, newest, de (Frankfurt). Apps, databases, n8n workspaces, HivePods and tunnels are available in all of them, and your plan’s limits count across all regions combined. See Regions.

A custom domain can belong to only one app or pod, is only routed after its TXT record checks out, and an unverified claim lapses after 72 hours. Root domains use ALIAS, ANAME or flattened CNAME records. See Custom domains.

Addresses that aren’t connected to anything now show Nothing is live here, and apps that aren’t responding show This app is unreachable right now, across apps, workspaces, pods and tunnels. See what they mean in Limits and troubleshooting.

  • Automatic region failover that keeps your URL (--no-failover to opt out).
  • dockhive doctor checks your sign-in, regions and local app.
  • --log and --log-level for connection logs.
  • Sign in with an API key (dockhive login --token, DOCKHIVE_TOKEN).
  • Tunnels appear in the console under Tunnels.

See DockHive Tunnel.

Drone tells you when code isn’t a web app (and doesn’t charge build minutes for it), lists the environment variables your app needs, and can check your code before you deploy.

Bandwidth is measured across apps, databases, n8n workspaces, HivePods and tunnels, with one allowance per plan. See Usage, overage and bandwidth.

Email verification for every new account, bot protection on sign-up and sign-in, and API keys with read-only scope. See Account security.

Drone, DockHive’s AI deploy agent, is live: pick it when you create an app and it reads your code, builds your app and deploys it, fixing problems along the way. See Drone and frameworks.

The hivepod CLI deploys a folder with hivepod deploy, and hivepod mcp lets Claude Code, Cursor and other MCP clients deploy and manage DockHive for you. See CLI and MCP.

Turn on GitHub auto-deploy and every push to your branch goes live, with status on the commit. See Push to deploy.
