Manage, delete and restore n8n workspaces

Use Stop and Start on the workspace page. While a workspace is stopped, its address shows This app is unreachable right now. Your workflows and data are kept.

The Overview tab shows CPU, memory and network use. The Logs tab shows the workspace’s recent log lines.

  1. Open the workspace and go to Settings → Danger Zone.
  2. Click Delete Instance, type the instance name and confirm.

The workspace stops and its address goes offline, but its data is kept for 7 days. The list shows it as Deleted (restorable) with a Restorable until date. After 7 days, all workflows, credentials, executions and settings are permanently removed.

Within 7 days of deleting it:

  1. Open the workspace from the n8n Hosting list (it shows Deleted (restorable)).
  2. Click Restore at the top of the page.

The workspace comes back with the same address, data and owner login. Sign in with your existing n8n password. Restoring counts toward your plan’s workspace limit, so delete or upgrade first if you’re at the limit.

After the deadline, the workspace can’t be restored.

DockHive doesn’t keep a copy of the owner password, so it can’t reset it for you. If you’re still signed in somewhere, change it in n8n’s settings.
